Just announced at Bitcoin 2022 in Miami our CEO, Graham Krizek, gave two key updates to our products and platform. We are creating modern products to push the Lightning Network into its next phase of adoption. These new advancements in the Voltage platform are made specifically to simplify Lightning for all.
Surge
We are proud to share first, Surge, which will allow node runners to optimize their operations with deeper insights and alerts about their nodes. Tooling like Surge will help increase the reliability of the Lightning Network, and personal optimization of individual nodes. We are bringing modern DevOps tooling to Lightning to enable the most advanced deployments.
Next-Gen Platform
Secondly, the next iteration of the Voltage platform will be the most robust Lightning platform available. There will be radical updates and improvements across the board. This includes robust APIs to easily integrate Lightning, incredibly scalable nodes, easy integrations, and a usage based billing model. We are taking the complexity of Lightning into one managed platform that still enables users to control their own keys without sacrificing on usability. This platform will be a game-changer for those building on Lightning.
